I'm all for gay marriages, I believe we should all have equal rights.

I myself don't intend to get married, but I think that if a person wants to, they should be able to!

Furthermore, what a lot of people don't realize that marrige isn't the same as a "civil union."

Imagine this, because it's happened: your lover dies suddenly in a car crash. Your parents, who disowned your lover because he was gay and have been the source of nothing but hardship and pain for him, are the ones who get to decide what happens to his body. Just to spite him, they cremate him and flush his ashes down the toilet.

Ugh.

If they are in love and want to get married they should be allowed to like anyone else.

I say its none of the governments business who marries who. If religious organizations want to limit what they ill condone thats fine, its their right to do so but not the government.

I think it's absolutely disgusting to try and tell gay people what right's they have.
Gay people are just like everyone else in the way that they're allowed to get married, the government have no right to try and make it illegal for gay's to get married, it's pathetic.

True, marriage is different from civil union. I think marriage is a cultural practice and a religious vow, Civil Union, on the other hand, advocates legal rights and privileges to same sex couples similar/equal to hetero marriages. I support same sex marriage although there are a lot of sectors in the society that are against this. It'd be difficult to make it happen, I say lets push for legal claims first lol

If two people love each other then nothing should stop them being together no matter what their sex is

I agree with same sex marraige and I'm disappointed that people voted against it taking the right from two people who love each other to marry, it's a disgrace and wrong and California is one state who voted against it and people who think it's over better guess again because it's all just beginning there are people willing to fight for same sex marraige and I'm one of those people. Times change and people need to stop looking back and saying "back then it was only man and woman" it's time to move forward and accept Man and man, woman and woman.

I agree with same sex marriage. I don't see any problem with it. I actually find it pathetic that people care who someone else loves. If two men or women want to love eachother and have a life together then so be it. It's nobody elses business.
