OK so i'm having terrible trouble sleeping at nights, I lie there for hours on end every night looking at the ceiling and i'm so tired during the day because of it. Right now it's gone 11pm i'm tired I may get to sleep when i get into bed but i'll be awake again within an hr of two.
Anyone have any tips that I can try out to help me sleep better?
dont drink too much coffee or even tea which has just as much caffine as coffee.
go for a short walk b4 bed
go to bed on a good note (if your stressed ) you will not sleep well
have a shower just b4 you go to bed ,it really winds you down
read !!! how many times have you read in bed and woke in the morning holding a book open (loads i bet)
count sheep or come post with me and i'll bore ya to sleep.. stu.....
Try a lavender bath and laying in bed trying to get to sleep is the wrong thing to do. You are trying to hard and it will take longer. Try reading for awhile and you feel sleepy then lay down.
Reading in bed definitely wears me out. Also watching a film in bed makes me tired too.
You could also do what I sometimes do, put some relaxing music on an iPod or mp3 player. I usually listen to Kate Bush's album "Aerial" in my bed, works every time.

i have a cuddly bear that is full of lavender. it can b warmed in the microwave. its relaxing and warming
relax ur whole body ... start with your toes and work ur way up ur body. stretch then relax evry muscle. it usually works 4 me. before i hav got halfway up my body im asleep.
